St. Oliver Plunkett Feast Day

St. Oliver Plunkett was born in Co Meath on 1st November 1625. He was ordained a priest in January 1654 and became archbishop of Armagh on 1st December 1669. He was imprisoned for three years and was executed at Tyburn, London on July 11th 1681. He was declared martyr for the faith and given the title "blessed" on May 1920 and canonized a saint on October 12th 1975.
