In his recent homilies and writings Pope Benedict XVI called for a renewal and revitalizing of the Church’s Liturgy. He strongly encourages ongoing training of the laity with special emphasis on those who hold ministries within the Eucharistic Assembly – e.g. Readers and Ministers of the Eucharist.

In order to facilitate this training, which will be both spiritual and practical, a four week programme will take place in the parish hall for both groups together. All Ministers of the Word and Eucharist are encouraged to attend either meeting as well as new members.The course begins on tomorrow
