Mother’s Day
Sunday 14th March 2010
Like Mary
I am the Lord your Saviour
I want you to enter into my love.
Yes, I want you to come so close to me that
I can speak my love into your heart
I want to come to you as I came to Mary
I am not looking at your greatness
Nor at your attempts as asserting yourself
Or trying to stand out from others.
I see your likeness
I see deep with in you
Behind all the various disguises, masks and roles
I see the child,
My beloved child,
My beloved child who is hungry and cries
For my love
come to me
Stay with me...

St Oliver Plunkett School News
The Parish Team are happy to invite both parents and children (P4, P5,and P6) to the Vigil and Midday Masses.
Prayer of Quiet
In our parish, many of our younger children are already praying the Prayer of Quiet, either in their own classrooms in school, or in the Church, especially at their monthly Masses.
For adults, it is a great spiritual experience to be with children, as they open their hearts in silence and stillness and gently breathe in God’s presence.
