Please Respect The Sanctity
Of The Church

Icon

Remember that when Mass is over the church is still the house of God, a plave of worship and prayer. Please keep voices down even though it is good to see friends each week, so please keep the chat and banter for outside the church, in the porches, or even in the church hall.

There are some who like to pray in silence after Mass. Please respect their right to do so.

BINGO!!!
Bingo

De La Salle College, Edenmore Drive, present bingo every Tuesday night at 8.30 pm sharp!  All are welcome!

Parish Hall

The Parish Hall will be open before and after the 10am & 12pm Masses at the weekends. We would encourage parishioners to avail of this if they want to chat before and after Mass.  This means we can keep our church as a quiet place of prayer. Many thanks.

Thanks

Congress

An invitation to be renewed in our understanding of the Eucharist at both a personal and communal level…

How can I become involved?

A:       A Guided Eucharistic Vigil with Adoration & Mass will take place each Friday from March-June, 6.30pm-8.00pm. The Third Friday of each month is dedicated to the Sick.  Let us remember all our friends and relatives who are sick at this time and all we promised to pray for.

B: Each Wednesday from 10.00am is dedicated to Our Blessed Lady.  Let us ask for her intercession as we pray for our families and spend time after the Eucharistic Service in silent Adoration.

Those travelling to the final Mass in Croke Park on the parish coach on Sunday 17th June must pay the balance of £12 per person before 31st May. Money can either be left into the parish office or at the convent with Sr Claire. Further details later...

Free Marian Price

Mgr. Raymond Murray spoke here at our Evening of Remembrance during Holy Week and highlighted the case of local woman Marian Price who is currently imprisoned in Maghaberry Gaol. He has made a special appeal to St. Oliver Plunkett parishioners, especially our ex-prisoners, to support a march that is taking place calling for Marian’s release. The march will assemble at 2.30pm at Beechmount Parade today (Sunday) and will finish in Andersonstown.

The Parish is organising a Sponsored Walk on Divis on Monday 18th June to raise money for parish funds. All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult. Transport will be leaving the Parish Hall at 6.30pm sharp and refreshments will be available on our return (from 7.45 onwards). Sponsorship forms are available from the Parish Office.
